A brand platform for Solid Biosciences, which was founded with a singular focus: to find a cure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), a progressive genetic muscle-wasting disease with no approved treatments and no cure.

Solid’s R&D platforms extend the brand while remaining closely aligned with its core visual attributes. The brand hierarchy helps communicate Solid’s vision of addressing all aspects of the disease through a holistic approach to targeting Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
BRAND STORIES
A video series was created to reflect Solid’s spirit and introduce its unique approach to drug development. Each film centers on one of Solid’s core pillars, the essential building blocks guiding the company toward its goal of delivering effective therapies.
In this video: listening to and documenting the personal stories of patients and their families to better understand the impact of Duchenne muscular dystrophy on society and to inspire the broader DMD community.
THE WORK
In order to move forward Solid had to bring together the best knowledge to address all aspects of the disease, and to engage the broader scientific and patient communities.
Crafting a narrative for Solid Biosciences presented a unique challenge. Solid’s ecosystem comprised many stakeholders, each with its own, and sometimes contradictory needs. We created unique story lines using diverse media in order to address all of Solid's audiences while keeping the mission consistent throughout.

In less than 3 years, Solid has grown from a startup to a mature biotech company, expanding from just three employees to 100+. Established itself as a center of excellence for DMD and launched a clinical trial for ground-breaking gene therapy
