Solid Biosciences is a biotech company founded by the father of a young boy who was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), a progressive genetic muscle wasting disease, with no approved treatments and no cure. Solid’s mission is to advance treatments for patients as quickly and safely as possible.
In order to move forward Solid had to bring together the best knowledge to address all aspects of the disease, and to engage the broader scientific and patient communities.
Crafting a narrative for Solid Biosciences presented a unique challenge. Solid’s ecosystem comprised many stakeholders, each with its own, and sometimes contradictory needs. We created unique story lines using diverse media in order to address all of Solid's audiences while keeping the mission consistent throughout.

Solid’s R&D platforms extend the brand and align closely with its core visual attributes. The brand hierarchy helps to tell the story of Solid’s vision of addressing all aspects of the disease, and its holistic approach to targeting Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
A series of 90-second videos was created in order to capture the Solid spirit, and introduce its unique approach to drug development.
Each film focuses on one of Solid’s core pillars—the building blocks that bring them closer to the end goal of delivering effective therapies.
